How is a token measured?

Exactly the way Anthropic measures it — input tokens plus output tokens, summed. Token counts come straight from the LLM response, never estimated. You see the running total in /billing.

What happens if I exceed my included tokens?

You don’t hit a wall. Usage above the included pool flips to pay-as-you-go at the same rate listed on your plan ($30 per 1M tokens by default). The token meter on /billing projects your end-of-month bill in real time.

Can I cancel mid-month?

Yes. Plan changes take effect immediately and we prorate the remainder of the current month. No contracts on Starter, Pro, or PAYG. Business and Enterprise are annual.
